Dock Dogs...
If you enjoy outdoor dogs like I do, you should check out Dock Dogs (http://www.dockdogs.com/). This is an organization that holds jumping competitions for prize money. They set up a large swimming pool with a "dock" at one side. They have contests for both length and height jumping ability. The first time I saw them was at the Topsfield Fair (http://www.topsfieldfair.org/). My family and I watched for over an hour.

Jeremy's Blog
Those who know me personally will tell you how much I love my two dogs. Sandy is a 10 year old Golden Retriever, and Bailey is a 3 year old mix (half Cocker-Spaniel and half Maltese). Because I work from home I probably spend more time with them than my two kids or wife. Every morning I take them both to meet our friends at a local reservoir so they can run and play with other dogs. This is a large Deptarment of Conservation and Recreation area in Stoneham that allows them to be off leash.
Bailey LOVES to play in the mud!
Another place we enjoy visiting is the dog beach in Nahant.
